Emphasis is placed on the entrance where the two iconic volumes of the house meet to reiterate the strong connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Reflecting indoors, the geometry of the ejected rectangular volumes hone the balance between the home’s open and private spaces with the use of doors kept to a minimum on the ground floor. This strong connection is further emphasized through large windows that welcome the sunset and overlook the landscaped garden.
The existing dialogue between indoors and outdoors is accentuated through the selection of an earthy color palette and textural materials. The landscape echoes with the architectural geometry through its bold symmetrical lines. Enveloping the home, the garden is planted with fruit trees brought in from different neighboring countries: pomegranate from Saudi Arabia, almonds from Yemen, grapes from Palestine, cherries from Lebanon, pistachios from Syria, and oranges from Jaffa.
